Marian High School (Omaha, NE -- USA)

Marian High School in Omaha, Nebraska was established in 1955 as an all-girls school. The GoYogi Program was implemented at Marian as of August of 2018. All 703 students at Marian practice mindfulness meditation techniques every morning for 2-5 minutes before starting their school day. All faculty and staff also partake in this practice and the entire school is able to take a moment to pause and gain clarity among their fast-paced lives.

Jennifer Christen, the Assistant Principal of the school, serves as the administrator of the GoYogi Program at Marian.

Udavum Karangal (Chennai, India)

Udavum Karangal or “Helping Hands” is a philanthropic organization located in Chennai, India. This organization provides care and education for orphaned children, the mentally ill, the elderly, and children with low-income, poor family lives. The GoYogi Program was implemented at Udavum Karangal as of September of 2018. At Udavum Karangal, this program is used for students in grades 6-12, as well as college students at Jeevan Community College. Students practice use this program three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), and the audio lessons are provided in English as well as their native language, Tamil. Students express a clear increase in exam scores, a stronger mental health stability, as well as a stronger ability to focus. Students at Udavum Karangal look forward to practicing this program in the morning before starting classes.

The school’s Headmistress, Lara Steeward, and the Head of Jeevan Community College, Kavitha Paramesh, serve as the administrators of the GoYogi Program at the elementary school and community college at Udavum Karangal.

Prairie Meadows Alzheimer's Special Care Center (Omaha, NE -- USA)

Prairie Meadows Alzheimer’s Special Care Center started using the GoYogi program with their residents in February of 2019. The staff uses GoYogi mindfulness audio lessons with their late-stage Alzheimer’s patients. It serves as a great alternative to medication and helps calm down the residents. Ronna Caniglia, Program Director at Prairie Meadows, serves as the administrator of the program. She assists in the practice the GoYogi program everyday and the residents reap great benefit from a daily mindful moment.
